Dear Mr Cornwell,
I met you after your entertaining talk at the Cheltenham Literature Festival today, and as I was one of the last in the queue and I didn't want to hold you up, I opted for a handshake instead of a gush. Nonetheless, what I wanted to say was that I've been reading and loving your books for two decades, since I was around 10, starting with the fantastic Sharpe series, and it's been a huge pleasure accompanying your characters over the years. Please keep up the wonderful work and many thanks indeed for all of your stories.
All the best,
Alex

OMG, Bernard! YOU are one hell of an author. All the way through WATERLOO I kept hoping Sharpe and Harper would not die. I was somewhat prepared for one or both of them to get killed, but I truly hoped you would let them live. So thank you for that. I'm hoping to learn what they did next - particularly about Harper's pub and horse trading. Wonderful character. What an emotional roller-coaster this summer has been as I pounded through the series. ~~~ Next up: The Last Kingdom series. Thank you SO MUCH for your brilliance.

Hello Mr.Cornwell
I’m a huge fan of your Last kingdom series. I’ve read all your including books your latest book “War of the wolf”. I enjoy Uhtred as a character as he reminds of Ragner Lothbrok from the Vikings show. Thank you for your hard work and I can’t for your next book in the series

Mr Cornwell
thank you for another superb tale about one of my favorite literary heroes Uhtred ! Like Uhtred I am now in my 60's and retired so I identify with life at this point with its grief and challenges. I was also happy to see that Uhtred's story is not over, so so thanks for that glimpse into the history of England.

Dear Mr. Cornwell
I just wanted to say that I have enjoyed all 10 installments of your incredible series. I look forward to season 3 of The Last Kingdom on Netflix. This is the only series of books that I have ever read completely in my entire life. I also want to thank you for the large print edition and I hope that war of the wolf will be in large print paperback as well. I also wanted you to know that from reading your books has inspired me to finally write my own novel. I've made many attempts in the past and had quit. But for the first time I am actually writing a novel for a publisher. Thank you for being such a great inspiration.

Hello Mr. Cornwell,
I’ve been devouring your books through the last year. I started with your Warlord trilogy and have been working through the Sharpe series, with a brief excursion through Agincourt. Your writing is FANTASTIC! I’ve been captivated by military history for as long as I can remember and your novels are absolutely a dream. I love the historical notes at the end of your books and always seem to be looking at different Wikipedia articles throughout my reading experience to get an idea of the real events but it certainly further enhances your captivating tales! I haven’t submitted your full catalogue yet but I fully intend to! Thank you so much for these amazing stories, I love that someone else is as captivated by our histories and soldiers as I am, I look forward to more amazing reading from you, sir. My best wishes will always be with you!

Curtis Hyatt
I always look forward to your next book because you never disappoint. Loved War of the Wolf. Read it in two days. Just wanted to say thanks for not just the entertainment but the education. Well done you, sir.

Hello Mr Cornwell,
I would just like to take this opportunity to say that it was a great pleasure to meet you at Althorp House last Friday, and to thank you very much for signing the books that I bought with me. I really do appreciate it. Oh...and I’m really enjoying War of the Wolf.
Many thanks again
Mike
Mr. Cornwell,
I've just finished devouring your sailing thrillers. I hope you write another. It's hard to fathom why at least one of those novels did not become the basis for a feature film.
Best wishes.

Hi Bernard,
Reading through Sharpe, not for the first time. Just finished Triumph. What a book, what a battle. If you can read a book so many times and each successive time feel the excitement of it, then you know its a bloody good book!!
As much as I enjoy Uhtred...nothing compares ro Sharpie!!!
Regards
