Dear Sir,
Thank you for writing so many high quality stories. I've always been interested in military history, but I've only recently discovered your books. And I can assure you, it has been a most amazing introduction.
I hope I will live long enough to read them all, as I'm already 48 books behind.
Kind Regards,
Karel.

Mr, Cornwell,
I just wanted to thank you for the hours of reading pleasure you have given me over the years. From Sharpe to Uthred your books have been the start of many adventures in history. I wont ask you for more of any one specific character, if you write it I'll read it.
Again thank you
Gary T.
Hi Mr Cornwell,
I won't keep you long, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your books and your writing and I've found them a great distraction for me from the challenges I'm facing in life at the moment. My dream is to write for a living. To be published would be a wonderful thing and to be paid would be the icing on the cake.
I also loved the television adaptation of 'the last kingdom' and am looking forward to the next series. I think it was very well produced and I particularly loved the actor that played Uhtred. Thank you so much for giving me a much needed escape route from the realities of my life at the moment. Maybe if I ever do get published myself, I can send you a copy of MY book! ☺️ Thank you for all you do.
Sending my very best wishes.
Elizabeth.
I'll look forward to reading your book!
THE BEST BOOKS I EVER READ. I READ 1 FROM THE LIBRARY AND WENT OUT AND BOUGHT THE COMPLETE SERIES AND THE DVD'S. MY FAVORITE WAS TRAFALGAR AND LEAST FAVORITE WAS DEVIL. AS MANY FANS I WISH THE STORY NEVER ENDED. I ASO BOUGHT YOUR NON- FICTION BOOK ABOUT WATERLOO. IT WAS AS ENJOYABLE AS ANY SHARPE BOOK. NOW I WILL START ON THE SAXON TALES. I LOVE HISTORICAL FICTION,IT IS MY FAVORITE GENRE.

Dear Mr. Cornwell,
A couple of years ago I found a copy of Gallows Thief in a local bookstore. Here in Brazil it was translated as "The Condemned". I was looking for something nice to read and I am really glad I gave it a shot - that was a nice book. Then I looked into Arthur's books and those really blew me away! I especially loved the second book and how you portrayed the personalities of Merlin and Lancelot. Derfel was a fantastic main character, although but I feel bad about the sad and lonely way his life ended in the story. Maybe someday we'll get to see this trilogy as a blockbuster movie franchise? I sincerely hope so.
Anyway, I just wanted to express how much I appreciated these books - you did a formidable job there, sir. Looking forward to starting the Grail Quest soon!

Mr Cornwell,
I can't thank you enough for the Saxon Tales and the Sharpe's series. Reading a book is one of my deepest enjoyments. I have been in war in airplanes and on the ground-got shot down 3 times. I know what it feels like to be hunted by the enemy. The feel of your books is right for me. I smell them, hear them, and feel them. I feel being soaked to the bone with cold rain and mud. For some reason the books con't bring horror back to me but a sense of belonging. They feel right.
Now I'm working on getting my Dad to read the Sharpe's. And I look forward to the next Saxon book.
Bloody good writing and story telling!!!!

Hi, Mr Cornwell,
just a note to say that I did not know you did Viking type stories and only knew of the Sharpe books, and of course love that tv series...When the last kingdom was about to be aired last year, my best friend Eddie,(who has personally met you in person a few times as he loves all your work especially all things waterloo/sharpe)..he had already read all the warrior books,,so I bought the whole series and have just finished 'Warriors of the Storm' and to my delight ,Eddie has told me your on with the tenth book..hence this email....The Flame Bearer.. I cannot wait and hope there are more after that...Mind you Uhtred is getting on a bit,but his sons are an interesting arc to follow.I live in York (eforwic/Jorvik) and love the way your books bring out all the old names of Englands Citys..when ever I visit places now related to The Last Kingdom books. I get a chill...lol..yeah I know its fiction..but bloody great fiction at that..thank you for an amazing read.
.Andy
Dear Mr Cornwell,
I would like to tell you, how much I love your art. The " Uthred Saga" impressed me deeply and I cannot stop reading it.
I bought the last book, and as always again, I am inable to put the book aside.
I love it. Please let Uthred live and let him get back his beloved Bebbanburg, Bebbancastle.
Thank you so much for all the happiness and excitement I can enjoy with your books .
( sorry my English is not perfect)!
Bettina, a German woman, who lives in France. Thank you so much, the greatest Uthred fan am I.
Just finished Warriors of the Storm. You just get better and better. Wow!
