Dear Mr.Cornwell
I'd like to begin with saying that I am a fan and admirer of your work.
That being said, I've been reading "The Warrior Chronicles", and noticed a discrepancy.
While reading "The Empty Throne", part 3,Uhtred and 6 others slip ashore in Wales armed with only short swords, hidden beneath their cloaks (pg. 202).
Then later on, the group stays away from the battle because they were only armed with seax's (pg.218).
After Eadith stabs Uhtred and the pain is gone, he draws Serpent-Breath and swings it in a wide arch (pg.234).
Definitely not a criticism, just thought you might like to know for revisions on future editions.
Unless of course you did this on purpose to see who was actually reading and paying attention to the story.
If that's the case, your secret is safe with me.
Thanks for what you do,
Bryan J.A. Liscomb
P.S. Waterloo was brilliant !
Shhhh . . . . don’t tell anyone (and thank you)
