Mr. Cornwell
As much as I try to read other historical novels, as they are my favorite types of books, I am always drawn back to your novels. Your trilogy on the Warlord series is priceless, I refuse to let my wife make me move them out of the house as she does with other books that continue to take up our living space, and I have read maybe 6 -8 of your books total. I love them - you are my favorite novelist by far, just thought I'd let you know.

Just a note to thank you for your books. Loved the Sharpe's series, (in order,) and have read and re-read the Archer's series and always enjoyed. And I anticipate more!

Dear Mr Cornwell
Firstly your intro above is not unfriendly at all; just plain common sense, but unfortunately they do not teach that in schools these days.I would like to thank you for allowing Calibre Audio Library to record your books. They do not have only blind members, but accept other physical disabilities. These days I can only hold a book for a short while, especially if it is a fat one. I cannot imagine living in a house without large areas of bookshelves and still buy books or get them as presents, but now I have two shelves of unopened books including most of your later ones. Thanks to Calibre I can listen to a book then, if I want to re-read it, it is not quite so frustrating having to put it down.
Thank you for the books and for Calibre.
All the best
Anna
I'm so glad it works well for you!
Sir:
I'm presuming on your time, but I wish all history narrators were as interesting as you. Today I'm rereading 1356, couldn't put it down after resampling a few pages.

Salve signor Cornwell,
my name is gianluca and i'm seventeen. I live in italy. I don't speak english very well but i want congratulate for your books. My favorite saga is that about Uhtred. This character is a hero for me. I read Uhtred also at school under the bench with the teacher in the room. You are my favourite writer. For ever your fan, Gianluca... continui sempre così mi raccomando!!!
Just another random email of appreciation and thanks. In August I emailed you after reading the first book in the Saxon Stories and now I've finish all of them, as well as the Warlord Chronicles and the first 11 Sharpe books(in historical order) and again I must express my thanks and appreciation for the time and work you've put into your books. It's given me something to do in my free time and I no longer have use for my TV.
I also want to say that the Saxon Stories would make great movies, fingers crossed for seeing that some time in the future.
Looking forward to future books.
Michael

Sorry for English, I used google translator to help me write it. I am very fan of his works, and were they who gave me strength to start writing my own book. Thank you for putting me in the most amazing battles and make me, a privileged spectator of these battles.

I have been making my way thru your books, series, by series. I was told about them by my nephew Andrew who was in the army in Afgn and wanted me to send him something to read. He wanted to read about Arthur. Since then I have been sending your books thru http://booksforsoldiers.com/ to lots of military. They seem to enjoy them as much as I.
Thanks for the great pleasurable time reading.

Thank you!
I've just finished reading 1356 and wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed not just this latest book, but all of your works. History has always fascinated me; adding you characters and style to the mix makes it that much more enjoyable. The worst part now is waiting for you to finish the next installment in whichever series you are working on...so get busy! All kidding aside, a big thank you from an "English As A Second Language" American of Cuban descent. Stay busy!
