I cannot get enough of Saxons and Vikings hacking each other to death. Thankfully I've just discovered the series and I can enjoy reading them one after another, which is wonderful for an insomniac like me. I feel like I'm living in the 10th century!

Hi.
My name is Wagner Lai from the city of Londrina, State of Paraná, Brazil. The first novel I read from you was the "Grail Quest". Instantly I loved Thomas and his insights about his quest. When I finished reading it, I felt a sensation that it wasn´t enough. I needed more. Then I got the "Sharpe Books" and the "Arthur Books". This last one was sensational. Right now I´m still at the "Sharpe Books" and the "Saxon Stories". Unfortunately I only have access to the translated version of your books in brazilian portuguese. However, soon I´ll read the original ones, which, I assume, it´s even better. For now, I´d like just to say thank you for presenting us with your writing talent.
I noticed that one of your readers/fans posted a question concerning the History Channel's production of "The Vikings", which begins 3/3/13 in the US. They are also producing a series titled "The Bible", which begins on the same date. I just couldn't help but notice the irony concerning the two subjects as they relate to the Anglo-Saxon period. While "The Vikings" may be must see tv for Uhtred (if he were around to watch), I can imagine he would shudder at the thought of a Biblical television event! Beocca, Willibald, Pyrlig and Alfred, on the other hand, would be delighted!

I'm sure you are right!
I've read other readers' questions, so I'm aware that you've addressed the possibility of adding to Starbuck's adventures. I simply wanted to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed the series and hope you find time to bring him back. I suppose the good news for you (or your book sales) is that I'll now be branching out into one of your other series. I'm confident that I'll be as entertained by Sharpe, the Vikings, or the Saxons as I was by Nate Starbuck...which I loved so much that I read "The Bloody Ground" SLOWLY at end to make it last as long as possible!
In conclusion, I've never written to an author before (its a little intimidating), but I felt I should offer one more vote for Starbuck.
Thank you,

Just read Agincourt - really good. I have also read Juliet Barker's book on Agincourt, a good historical account while yours tells as it was for the people taking part in a brilliant section of English history. Have read most of your books the last being The Fort. Keep the good work

I was introduced to your work when my mother saw the second Saxon book and sent it to me, saying it looked like something I would enjoy. I've been a fan ever since. I just completed the Starbuck series and I must say being a member of The Sons of Confederate Veterans, I thought your books brought the War of Northern Aggression to life for me. I think you portrayed life as a Confederate soldier as it must have been. Your ability to weave your characters into the fabric of history is an amazing talent.
Thank you for the many hours of enjoyment....

I was recently introduced to your writings and just completed the 'Warlord Chronicles'. I just want to thank you for a marvelous take on Arthur and Merlin. The character development, the history, the culture, and the amazing plot leads me to believe that you traveled back into time to get your material ;)
Thank you for bringing your art to the world!
