Q

Just wanted to say hello from London. I am thoroughly enjoying your Saxon series and have just started reading "The Pale Horseman" and am enthralled. I have quite a few friends in Denmark who are always reminding me about how they trounced us. I have travelled all of the UK & am familiar with Bamburgh Castle, so this is really like reading the birth of our nation. Amazing work. Would love to see you in London if I can get tickets. All the best to you and yours.

Fell in love with Sharpe during the TV run and  hadn't read any of the books but recently found some at a used bookstore when my granddaughter treated me to some books as a birthday gift.. Discovered some affordable ones (2). I just love historical books, whether about military exploits or romance. My ancestors may come from south of the border but British history affected my eventual American heritage.  I plan to buy more of your Sharpe's books.  Also, the Saxon series which sound terrific. Anyway, thanks for the great writing. Regards to Mrs. C.

Hello Mr. Cornwell,
I would just like to say thank you for providing stories that not only keep a reader captivated but also teach history. I have read the Grail series and am now in the Saxon Chronicles ( which I am enjoying a great deal ). I didn't think I would enjoy another character as much as I did Thomas but then I discovered Uhtred. So thank you, your stories are better than watching movies.

I have never been so captivated by a series of books, I can't put them down.  Your historical notes  are just the icing on the cake, so, as an ex Rifleman, thankyou so much for the interest and enjoyment your books have given me.

Q

My son recommended the Sharpe books.  I read them all and then the Saxon books.
When I finished Death of Kings, I was sorry no more in the series.  Looking at all your
other books.  Best history I have read almost read a book a day.  Have both
English and Danish ancestors becomes clearer why.  Thanks great reading. I
will be in line for your next book.

Q

I just finished reading the "Death of Kings" and wanted you to know how much I enjoyed it.  I have read all your books and when I see a new one, such as "The Death of Kings", it's like finding a friend I haven't seen in a long time.  Thank you.

Q

I am reading again your three books on Arthur and want to tell you how much I am enjoying them yet again.  I love the old tales of knighthood but I read these books and say to myself, 'this is truly how it could have been; and I feel as if I am reading history more than fiction. I enjoy many of your books and as a veteran having served in combat, your fighting scenes are some of the most realistic I have encountered in literature.
Thanks for your work

Geologist living in Houston. From Boston-ex-Cape Cod-W Yarmouth. Recently introduced to your books. Read the Arthur novels and reading STONEHENGE. Excited to eventually read all your books. You are a fabulous writer and story teller. Historical facts, realism and subject matter are superb. You and Ken Follett are the best.I've ever read. Thanks for the experience!
