Dear Mr. Cornwell, Thanks for taking time to read this letter. I was just browsing the internet looking for your newest book I might buy and saw that you take letters. I am mad about your saxon series, among others. I love historical novels esp. about old england. Stonehenge was fabulous also. I am a writer, and as you might guess, am very busy trying to write, (thrillers, for now), publish, (sending my first novel out there, not much luck yet), and hold down a full time business of my own. But when I find I need to take a vacation from all of that, I like to read, and you are one of my favorite. Thanks for the work you do.

I'm just writing a quick missive to let you know how much I'm enjoying your wonderful Warlord Chronicles. I've read several of your books over the years. I read several of the Sharpe Books when I was younger (41 now) but, as most readers do, jump around different authors so didn't pick up on the Chronicles when they were first released. I bought Azincourt when that was released and really enjoyed it and recently picked up the Warlord Chronicles. Well I'm truly hooked. I wasn't sure if I'd like the style when I realised we were following a narrative by a character in the story but was soon addicted. I've just finished Enemy of God am a few pages into Excalibur. I love the way the legend is told in a historical style context that is utterly believable and makes me feel that it actually happened this way :) I've already bought The Last Kingdom and Pale Horseman so I can move seamlessly forward in time 300 years. The quick missive was as likely as Lancelot keeping faith. Thanks for the great work. I haven't enjoyed reading a series of books so much for a long time (Probably since Sharon Penman's Welsh series). Kindest Regards Gavin "Gawain" Woods
Mr. Cornwell, I just finished lords of the North in 3 days time. In my opinion it is just that good. Anxiously awaiting Sword Song and The Burning Lands but Overstock is taking forever.. Ive written before to express my gratitude for the hours of enjoyment. My wife doesn't like when your books come in because all my free time goes into reading.I have never been so engrossed in Literature. I read alot but I've been voracious with your books. When i finish the Saxon Tales i was planning on starting The Grail quest. It seems logical and in a timeline. Warlord Chron. Saxon tales, then Grail Quest.. And all the future books to come .. Thanks for sharing your gift with us all.. Sincerely, Lord Blackburn of Laurinburg ha.
Mr. Bernard Cornwell, you, sir, have deprived me of hours of sleep. I couldn't stop reading the Winter King and now I'm almost eating up The Enemy of God and Excalibur waits patiently on my shelf. I haven't enjoyed a book this much since Harry Potter was news. Thank you for writing them! Greetings from Brazil!

Dear Sir, Just to say that I loved very much the Arthur Books, you made Arthur really come to life, and also the "historical" context. Now I'm reading the Saxon Stories. Arthur's could really be a fantastic movie. Great discovery. Eduard from Barcelona, Spain.
I've just been reading 'Your Questions'. In response to Stuart Reynolds' question posted 27 Feb about a cannon ball taking off a soldier's foot, the victim was a drummer boy. It was in one of your earlier written Sharpe novels, but I'm not sure if it was 'Eagle' or 'Gold', or one of the others. Hope this helps.

Hello, Mr. Cornwell I'm a Brazilian fan of yours and I want to congratulate you for your books, The Saxon Stories the most. I'm very excited to read the last one, Death of Kings. Now I'm reading The Arthur Books and I loved the way you put the legend in a real world. I wanted to give you an idea: a William Wallace story. Not like that one Braveheart, but with your brilliant mind behind it. Congratulation for your gift! Thiago Dantas
I have been reading (and IMMENSELY enjoying) your books for more than 20 years and am usually the first in line to get a new one. But, I am now 65 and would really like to see some more Nathanial Starbuck before I pass on. Just wanted to let you know that you are often a topic of conversation in my life (and in a really good way ) Bud Harton
Hello Mr. Cornwell, Have you mentioned on your site that Blackstone Audio has created iPad/iPhone apps of your Sharpe series of audiobooks? I stumbled upon them looking for military history apps. I've downloaded Sharpe's Rifles and it's a great app along with an excellent production. Bruce Strange
Thank you!
