Q

dear Mr. Cornwell, I just want to thank you for the joy you bring me day by day. thank you very much and I can`t wait to read how it will be going on with Uhhred. Unfortunately I live in Germany,so I have to wait. greetings from cologne, your biggest fan, Susanne

Q

Having recently visited Bamburgh Castle in Northumbria, I feel nauseous for Uhtred's impending battle to retake Bebbanburg's fortress. If the fortress of Alfred's day is anything near as formidable as the Norman castle, he has his work cut out for him!

Q

Mr. Cornwell, Just wanted to let you know I love the Saxon Stories. I am listening to them through Audible. My only complaint is that they are not all available unabridged. I also wanted to tell you that Tom Sellwood is a phenomenal narrator and made book 3 a joy to listen too. I hope you will use him for future reads. Thanks again for your good work.

John Friede

Q

Just want to say I love your books and have read most of them. Soon I will say I have read them all and waiting for your next. Keep on doing what your doing. More Sharpe books would be OK with me. have fun, Alex

Q

Your response to my question to Sharpe's medals is interesting. Yes they did not award medals during the peninsular wars and Sharpe would have received the Waterloo medal, if he was still alive in 1847 (only you can tell if he was) he would have been able to claim the military general service medal with a number of pars for the battles he fought in he fought in, including Vittoria, Badajoz, Corunna.. and the Naval general Service medal bar Trafalgar. I'll sit down and work out his bars... if he was alive of course...

Thank you! I'm no expert, and you are, and I'm truly grateful you answered the question so much better than I did!

Q

I LOVE your contemporary sailing books!!! I am an offshore sailor and they are wonderful. PLEASE, in your spare time, consider writing more. Pandora -- A California fan!

Q

Hello Mr. Cornwell. Recently you were asked a couple of questions. One was about arm rings and the other about John Coupland. I suggest you advise people that the Google is your friend. There are numerous sites with information about each. Carl Dominello

Google away! thank you!

Q

I just want u 2 know that the Nathaniel Starbucks series are great books!! I really hope u write more of them. I have MANY ancestors that were Confederate soldiers & I'm also a member in the SCV. So many books today seem to have a Yankee/political correct view, yet yours do not. Yours are more of a fictional story based around fact. I like that! I gets quite lame when folks always try & use their books or movies foe a politically correct platform. Anyways, I hope u get back to Mr. Starbuck soon!!

Q

Mr Cornwell, Not normally something i do, but thought i would just drop you a quick line to say how much i have so far enjoyed the Saxon Stories and the adventures of Uhtred. I'm not a big reader but your books seem to grip me. i know it's not something that writers normally like dong, but please consider approaching some film producers to bring these stories to life on the big screen. they would be fantastic with the right producers etc... i can't wait to read the Death of Kings (Christmas present, i hope!) Regards Dean Groombridge

Q

Dear Mr Cornwall, I have just finished reading 'Death of Kings'. As usual I found it hard to put down. Uhtred is a wonderful Character, and I fear that he may die in the next book. Please don't let that happen, I so look forward to the next book and to know that there won't be any more would make me very sad. I cried at the end of the Arthur stories. Please don't make me cry again. Everything you write is wonderful. You are THE MAN! M Warner
