Hi, I Just wanted to thank you for writing your books. I have never been a keen reader, I basically read when i had too at school i am now 32 years old and after watching the Tv drama Sharpe.I set out to read the whole series in order then the India series WOW. I have enjoyed the Starbuck chronicles and now just finished Sword song. I am from Northumberland so i cant wait to see our hero get his home back. I remember learning about Bede and the monks at Jarrow and visiting the monastery, if the teachers told us then how they carried the relics and dead body's around i am sure we would of had a greater interest. I have your next book to start now 'the Fort' . Thank you for the books. Regards Steve.

Hi Bernard, I want you to know that you have been my favorite author ever since I discovered the Sharpe Series in my local library during my second year of elementary school. Your books are just perfect to me, and I always have a hard time finding another book to read after I finish one of your novels, so I just read another piece of your mind-blowing literature. So, I would like to suggest that you keep writing and entertaining the world. Your a great writer!!!!! From Ryan P.S. Please wish my soccer team the Burke Hawks good luck for this upcoming season, that would be great!
Best of luck to the Burke Hawks - have a great season!
Dear Mr Cornwell, Just wanted to thank you for the hours and hours of entertainment you've given me. I have the Sharpe, Arthur, Thomas of Hookton and Uhtred books and have read them all at least twice over. I love your writing style and its inspired me to try it myself. Many thanks, Steven
Have just finished reading The Fort and enjoyed it enormously. I was particularly interested to read about Sir John Moore and have determined to find out more about him. The detail concerning Paul Revere has surprised me as he has had such a hero status in American history. So, thank you for a thoroughly great read. Really looking forward to Death of Kings as I have followed Uhtred through all The Saxon Stories. Any chance of you visiting Australia to attend one of the Writer's Weeks. The Adelaide Festival Writer's Week is always very successful. Anyway, thank you again and you have now forged in me a new interest in the American War of Independence.
