Cheers Mr. Cornwell. I have just finished your book "Agincourt" and I have to tell you it's one of my favorite novels that I have ever read. It's my first novel of yours that I have read and I will continue to read all your books starting with The Saxon Stories. I really enjoy historical fiction and authors such as Gary Jennings, Ken Follet, Edward Rutherford, and most recently, Ildefonso Falcones and I found your novel the most enjoyable. Thank you. Hi, I have recently read one of your books for the first time.....it was Azincourt! What a read!! I really enjoyed it. I could not put that book down. Now I'm hooked and I have started reading The Last Kingdom. Again, just want to keep reading! The story telling is superb, thanks!! Neal.
As a British woman who is back in England, but lived in the South of the US for 24 years, I hunger for Historical novels of any kind, and now of the South. Even though the battle scenes are gory, your writing sucks me into the book. I have just finished the Bloody Ground (book 4) and am left hanging for news of Starbuck. If you're collecting votes as to when to pick up this series, you have my vote for asap. Thank you so much for this fabulous work. With kind regards, Tina
Hi Bernard, I am currently reading your "Starbuck Chronicles". They are so good. I am nearly on the final book and they have got me so interested in the American Civil War even though I am English. I want to jump on a plane to Richmond. I have even seen all of the Ken Burns series on the History Channel-excellent programme. Anyway I dearly hope that you can get round to writing some more in the series one day. Thanks for the great books :-) Kind regards Andy
I recently found your books by accident. LOVE THEM! Been through 6 so far, and just bought some more. Keep up the excellent work, especially with the Saxon Stories. (I haven't read Sharpe yet, but will soon.) Take Care, Don Johnson
Have just finished The Bloody Ground this evening. Please write another one.

Mr Cornwell, I bought your book in the CD format, driving to London from North East Scotland. What a fantastic story. I have now started to learn the art of long sword and am interested in all things medieval. I have recently seen the proposal to make it into a film, now here's the cheeky bit if they need any extras with armour I'm your man :) I've just turn 40 and thought I'll ask before I've past it. I don't imagine you can help but you might know where to direct me (nicely)anyway sorry to have bothered you. FANTASTIC BOOK. Rgrds, Iain
No, sorry, I can't help with that. I don't have a clue as to how extras are chosen - but I wish you luck with it!
Dear Sir, I'm also admiring the talent and legend of the John of the Cornwaille, but writing that he was the most scarry knight of his times is the writer's mistake, when he was (John) livin in the same time, when the Zavisha The Black has won all of the treies he took, and 3 (1418) years after it he won the John of Aragon in the most famous duell of it's times. I think you should be more respective to the knights of the emperor Sigismundus, especially, when comparing to the Tannenberg (grunwald) battle the Azincourt was just the bar fighting. Artur Ostrowski
I really can't think why I should be 'more respectful' to the knights of the emperor when I don't even mention them! I should be more respectful to everyone I don't mention? I bet the samurai are really pissed off about Agincourt!
Dear Mr. Cornwell, I enjoy your all your books so much especially the Saxon series. Would it be possible to advance a couple of generations and write a novel around the Battle of Brananburgh. Please.
Mike Saunders
Be patient! There will be more to Uhtred's tale.
I just lose myself in your stories, they have kept me sane through the most darkest times. so thanks for having the most wonderful dreams,
