Mr. Cornwell, Sat by the Cam reading your Enemy of God a couple of days ago. It was a bright, glorious day in England and I was hooked on reading of Derfel and Arthur. Thank you for enriching my life.

hi , I just wanted to thank tell you how much I love reading your books . I have never been a big reader till I was hospitalised in April . My grandad then gave me the Grail Quest books to read and since then I have not looked back . I have read all your books except for the Sharpe series . I love the king Arthur trilogy, it was fantastic and Azincourt was probably the best book I have read, but I have really been blown away by the saxon series and have just finished reading the Burning Land . I love the way you write the battles and while I read them I am picturing myself there if that makes sense . So thank you for bringing me hours of enjoyment while I was very ill and I look forward to Uhtred's next adventure whenever that will be . many thanks, RUSSELL SILVESTER

Just finished reading "The Burning Land" after what seemed like a long wait for it to arrive, but the wait was well worth it! Once again a magnificently crafted tale which brilliantly portrays the struggle to create England. I just wish that authors like you had been around when I was at school. Without Sharpe, Harper, Uhtred (and Rider Sandman) I wouldn't know a fraction of what I have learned from reading your books, whilst also being thoroughly entertained. It's good to see that the Booker Prize has finally gone to a historical novelist, giving the historical novel the recognition it has long deserved. Best regards, and I will be looking forward to when Uhtred campaigns again! Graham Bradbury

My daughter, Gabrielle, is now about four and a half months old. I thank you for directing me to her beautiful middle name, Seren. I am of Welsh heritage and my wife and I love the name. Thanks for including it in your novels! Warmly, Gary Aldridge

As an immigrant Scot living in Benoni,South Africa and a long time fan,I originally thought your books would be in plentiful supply - not a chance.I have come close to a fist fight with the owner of the 2nd hand book shop that I frequent over a copy that he had missed while packing the shelves. You bring pleasure to many people please continue.

Dear Bernard, I just wanted to drop you a short note to say thank for you the Warlord Chronicles. I've just finished Excalibur, and had trouble putting down all three of the books. In fact, it's a rare occasion when I actually wish my commute was longer. I see from your FAQs that people have already suggested a movie series of the books, and I'd very much enjoy that. I personally have rather been enjoying TV drama historical fiction over movies for greater character development and exposition, through shows like the HBO/BBC production of Rome. I particularly enjoyed the echo's from the Boudica series from Manda Scott which I highly recommend. Many thanks, once again. Kind Regards Robbie Clutton, London.

WRITE FASTER :) I love your books, they are books that take you into the inner video of one's imagination. Thank you ...the books are worth every penny!

Good afternoon! I am a Brazilian student and I read all of your books already published in Brazil. My sister and I bought all your books and we spent a little fortune, but we don´t mind, we want more and more! My sister said she hates you because you turns she poor. Of course she was kidding, she (and I) loves everything you write! I need to say: I think Gallows Thief is your most amazing book! It´s really exciting! I really liked Sharpe´s Escape. Sharpe was in Portugal and the royal family had fled to Brazil. We study about royal family coming to Brazil in school, but in the school books it´s not too interesting. I thought how amazing could be if you write about Brazil´s discover. I read on the web site that you don´t want we send you ideas for next books, so of course it´s not an idea for you. It´s just my secret wish! I hope you keep writing for years and years the way you do. We love your work! Greetings of your Brazilian fans! P.S.: Sorry for my bad English. I am studying to improve. Already Sharpe fan's, we've only recently been introduced to Starbuck. Having completed the 4 books we desperately want you to write what would perhaps be, the final book in the Chronicles. Please please do it we must find out the outcome of Billy Blythe and his torturer in Richmond. Thanks for being such a brilliant author.
