Hi Bernard, I have no real qualm or query, I am just writing to congratulate you on the how fantastic Azincourt was, and to thank you for how much I enjoyed it. I'm 18 years old and I have been an avid reader of your books for many years, having read all of the Sharpe's and all of the series'. I was doubtful that Azincourt could top the Saxon Series (my favourites) but I was surprised when it was as brilliant as it was throughout. I enjoyed reading it immensely, especially enjoying the added brutality in places and the detail in which you described the great size and strength of the archers. I dread the coming of the day when you decide not to write any more books, as your work gets better and better everytime. There is no need to reply to this, I just thought it might brighten your day some to realise you have fans among all age groups, and that your books are still highly appreciated and the coming of new ones is anticipated. I hope you enjoy writing them as I do reading them. Thank you for reading, Matt

Dear Mr Cornwell (with staff) I would just like to say how much I love your books. At the moment I´m reading the very last pages of "Sword song" and I´m dragging it out to make it last longer. As I Live in Sweden I have to wait a little longer for your next book to be released, and I can´t wait. Thank you very much for brightening my life with marvelous reading. You do a tremendous job. Sincerely Carin Steiner

Hi Bernard- Just to say that I have read all your books and my favorite read is the Arthur series. I have read them 3 times now and get a great sense of being there in the story.I never tire of them and always find something new. I am loving the saxon series and cannot wait for the next chapter. Your gift as a story teller has given my great pleasure over the years and I love to escape from the real world and throw myself into the past. I love history and enjoy the way you bring it to life. Keep up the good work. Ian, a fan

Praise be to Odin! (Well, I suppose you get some credit as well!) Uhtred will ride again, and in this year! Serpent Breath will find flesh once more, Wasp Sting will pierce both hearts and ankles once again, while Uhtred follows his heart and path that will one day return him to Bebbenburg! All hail Uhtred! (Can you tell I am excited?) Fantastic news to see plans for an October release. Thanks, Mr. Cornwell...thanks!

Q

I have read all your saxon books, the very first books that I have read in a series, they are to me, the best, thank you for getting me to read again, can't wait for the next in the series, but 2010 is a long way of, so my wife suggested I read your Arthur series, so I'm buying them next, maybe one day I can meet you to get you to sign the first saxon book for me, thanks from a new fan.

Q

Dear Mr. Cornwell. I am a 20 year College Student from Auburn, Washington. I am a fan of literature and novels, particularly the historical fiction and fantasy variety. I found out about your work basically by chance. I was in Canada with my parents on our boat when we stopped by a dock in order to refuel and get supplies. At the dock gas station and shop, there was a display of used books, including one used copy of Vagabond. It looked cool, so I decided to buy it. As soon as I read the first paragraph, it hooked me in and hasn't let go since. Every time I finished a page, I was filled with an overwhelming feeling of excitement at what the next page contained. Your works are some of the best books I have ever read. After finishing the Grail series, I started reading the Sharpe's books, but am currently reading Agincourt. It's fantastic and John Cornwaile is one of the greatest badasses in fiction. I look forward to reading your upcoming novels. A Diehard Fan, Adam J. Fix

Q

Hello Mr. Cornwell, I just wanted to say how very much I enjoy your books particularly the Sharpe series my copies are getting somewhat "dog eared" from over use I am hoping that they are all still in print as I must replace them soon. I see from a previous questioner that you are not planning another Sharpe for a few years yet. I for one will be waiting eagerly for it's release. Kind regards, Wendy

Dear Mr. Cornwell I wish to thank you for your work titled "Azincourt". I found it to be addictive and one of the best stories I have read in a great many years. The last book to grab my emotions like this was "To Kill a Mockingbird". I cheered for young Nick and feared for him, I wished there was more to his later story but as he is a small piece of a great history there is not. I do thank you from the bottom of my heart for this great work. If you could suggest another story for me from your other works I would greatly thank you. Please keep up the great work and I hope to one day see you in Kansas City to sign my copy. thank you again, Anthony Fischer

I hope you'll read all my books! Maybe you'd like to start with the Arthur books? The first of the series is The Winter King.
