I'VE RECENTLY DISCOVERED YOUR BOOKS AND AM COMPLETELY HOOKED. NOT ONLY DO I ENJOY THE STORIES THEMSELVES, BUT I'M LEARNING ABOUT SEGMENTS OF HISTORY THAT WE JUST DIDN'T GET MUCH DETAIL ON IN HIGH-SCHOOL OR COLLEGE IN CLEVELAND. SATTELITE IMAGERY HAS ALSO GIVEN ME THE CHANCE TO SEE SOME OF THE SETTINGS YOU'VE USED. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH FUN I'VE HAD LOOKING AT THE CRECY BATTLEGROUND, OR GLASTONBURY TOR, OR SOUTH CADBURY HILL, OR TO LOOK DOWN AT WHERE YOU'VE SET GUENIVERE'S SEA PALACE AND SEEING WHERE IT LOOKS LIKE A STRUCTURE MAY HAVE STOOD AT ONE TIME. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT'S ALL FICTION, BUT IT SURE CAN BE FUN TO PLAY "WHAT IF". (MAN! I GOTTA GET A LIFE!) ANYWAY, THANKS FOR MANY HOURS OF ENJOYMENT. MIKE DAVIS

Hi! I am a Portuguese reader therefore I must have many errors. I want to say that I loved the book The pale horseman and that I want to say I want my mother to buy me the The Last Kingdom to know what happened to the Uhtred before coming to the Wessex. And also I have to wait for the translation of the last book of the trilogy to be able to read it. Jhonny
sir, I have read all your books to date, and I have found them really very good. I served several years in the merchant navy and reading was a primary form of entertanment, ['cept in port. I am now in my sixties and I still read just as much. So I would just like to say thank you very much for giving so much pleasure over the years, I think that your "Saxon Stories" are the best yet, and I wait with the quiet certainty that the next one will be as good if not better than your last, many thanks, your work keeps me quiet and content for hours, that pleases the wife, she also likes to read but not the kind of book you write. Glad really otherwise we would be arguing who was reading what! thanks again. please them coming. Alan
I just finished Lords of the North and devoured every page of it. When I bought the book, it was mentioned as the third part of a trilogy. Upon reading the historical notes at the end of the book, I see that Uhtred will be having further adventures. I am eager to continue this excellent saga soon. After reading The Grail Quest series, I have become an avid fan of your writings. Thomas of Hookton was, perhaps, one of the best characters that I have followed. I appreciate your work. James Watson
Many thanks for all your books, which I have got. Please please do not stop writing, I cannot wait for the new ones but is it possible you could write a bit quicker. Margaret Truckel
Hi Bernard, I discovered your talent last year in France with "le roi de l'hiver", then "le quatrième cavalier" this year and am now looking forward to reading the next Uhtred novel. I have read many books in my life but don't repeat it to my wife, I have never spent a better moment than when I read your novels. So thank you for writing these excellent novels, Bernard, and never stop ! Best regards, Erik
Hello Mr. Cornwell, I just want to say how big of a fan I am of your work. I am currently in the middle/end of Excalibur and am loving every page of it. The Winter King and The Enemy of God, for the first time, showed me an Arthur that is more than just a flawless hero. He is just a person who wants a normal life. He still goes through anger and grief. Thank you for bringing me, and so many others, the joy of your stories. - A Huge Fan, Kris.
I have always been a fan of medieval history/literature and recently picked up The Grail Quest series and Saxon series. They are amazing. The Grail Quest series has actually inspired me to pick up archery as a hobby. Thanks, please continue to write more medieval themed books. Jay
I've read some of your books and I love them, your choice of word, scene, in fact everything. I pray to write like you one day. from Nigeria am saying well done sir. Darlington Uzoigwe
