Dear Mr. Cornwell, I came to your Saxon series after buying the audiobook “Lords of the North” read by Richard Armitage. Mr. Armitage’s reading coupled with your vivid characters and story made me fall in love with Uhtred. So much so that I now own the series and am working my way through through them. Mr. Armitage’s beautiful voice radiates through the characterizations and have helped them to live for me. I never would have believed that I would be so absorbed in a story concerning Danes and Saxons but I am. Thank you for writing such a wonderful series.
