Hello Mr. Cornwell, I have much pleasure in reading all of your Sharpe series and your Vagabond books. The crowning glory of your endeavours has to be the Anglo Saxon chronicles, I have read all five, the first three several times. It is a race between me and my son who reads them first and who deciphers the plot and ending first. Both of us are history buffs and my thesis for my history degree was the Danelaw of the tenth century. We did find one mistake in “Lords of The North” which is Sihtricis Kjartan’s son by a Saxon slave girl in Dunholm and was about fourteen years old, which makes him about eight years younger than Uhtred.Kjatan did not take Dunholm until Uhtred was older than fourteen. However, this does not detract one iota from the enjoyment we have had from your writings. Please release the sequels asap before I too go to Valhalla. Best wishes Al Dormer
