Dear Mr. Cornwell I just want to a big thank you for keeping me entertained for oh 15 years now. I have to admit, I first came across Sharpe on UTV while I was in college on Thursday nights. It would actually prevent me from going out on the town (Thursday nights was the college night out) which was some achievement :) Then after college I got a job and some income and started to buy your books… Of course the books were FAR superior to the TV series, but in away it was great to put Sean Bean’s face on Sharpe as I read the rest of your books…. Of course being Irish, I got a great kick out of Harper… Got a job in the US, and with the more income started to buy the hardback editions :) I then married an American woman and she did the research and moved me on to the Starbuck Chronicles (she has southern blood :) ) and I really enjoyed those books and was impressed with your research into the American Civil War. We recently moved back to Ireland and have a 18th month son and she has moved me onto the Saxon Series, I am just finishing The Lords of the North which she got for me at Christmas.. Its funny, over the last 15 years a lot has changed in my life – from college, work, America, marriage and parentage the only constant is my enjoyment of your books and the style of your story telling.. So again, Thanks :)
