Dear Bernard, I’ve just finished ‘The Burning Land’ and would like to say how much I enjoyed it and its four predecessors. This sequence has reawakened my interest in a period which I had not studied since my first year at comprehensive school over 30 years ago. Among other things, I’ve been inspired to read Chesterton’s ‘The Ballad of The White Horse’. I eagerly await your next instalment. I’ll be happier still if you manage to resume the Starbuck Chronicles, Best Wishes
