Mr Cornwell My preferred reading has always been Historical – fact or fiction-so It is bizarre that I have only recently discovered your (fantastic)writing. I read Azincourt first (The title got me).I’ve now read Volumes 1 @ 2 of your Uhtred Adventures and am just starting Vol 3. I have all the Flashman Novels – the earlier ones 5 or 6 times -so I was delighted to notice your dedication to George MacDonald Fraser in The Pale Horseman – a coincidence because I thought when reading Vol 1 that your Alfred seemed physically and piously similar to Mr Macdonald Fraser’s General Custer from Flashman and The Redskins! Anyway sorry to go on – really all I wanted to say was thank you for writing all these books and giving me so much reading to look forward to over the coming years.
