Dear Mr Cornwell: I am a 74 UK expatriate who is an avid reader of many of your books. I have just finished reading Lords of the North (paperback I am afraid) and in the middle of reading it I said to myself what a great storyteller you are. That may seem trite for a author of your repute but the sentiment was heartfelt and I look forward to the next episode. I may say in passing that I have never ever written a letter/e-mail to an author before but somehow thought this was a appropriate expression of my feelings after having put down the book, and got out of bed to pen this note before retiring. Good luck and keep writing. Regards Howard Johnson
