Dear Bernard, I just had to write to tell you how fantastic the Saxon Series is. In Uthred you have created a character that embodies the true sense of what it must have been like to have lived during such turbulent times. Your narratives are so wonderfully written, and as an Archaeologist and Historian myself, I must say, spot on when it comes to Historical facts. Really cant wait to read the next installment after Lords of the North. You keep on Writing em and I’ll keep on reading em ! Cheers
