Dear Mr Cornwell, I’m a big fan of your Warlord Chronicles and have just finished reading The Last Kingdom which I honestly think is even better. I have The Pale Horseman and Stonehenge waiting to be read and will inevitably start Pale Horseman tonight. I visited your website for the first time today and wondered if you had ever considered adding a discussion forum to the website, a place where your fans can meet and discuss the books they have read and reccommend books to others. I have recently been using a forum like this on another of my favourite author’s websites (Conn Iggulden’s) and it seems to work really well. You have so many more books to discuss and I would imagine many more fans than Mr Iggulden so in my opinion a forum on this site could only be more successful. You would need to start advertising the website in any new books you bring out though. Lee Ransom

Hi Bernard. Just thought you and your readers might be interested that I have started a group on Yahoo regarding your books. I would like to invite all of your readers to join the group and perhaps we can have on line debates or simply post messages about your works. I owuld like it to become an online forum for your readers and who knows, if it takes off perhaps I’ll create an actual fansite similar to the Sharpe and Hookton ones but revolving initially around the Arthur series.
