Good Morning,  I am enjoying The Last Kingdom books greatly.  This period in history I absolutely an fascinated by!  I am of Irish and dare I say Danish descent so my roots run deep.  I have been to Denmark and Ireland, hope to visit England one day soon.  I especially enjoy the humor with a touch of sarcasm (Uhtred’s regarding Alfred!), the wisdom he uses in his decisions to gain his goals, although always delayed, is remarkable. We first found out by watching the Netflix series, however I truly love the books more, I am beginning Sword Song, the Battle for London.  I hope the saga will continue for many more books!  I am looking forward to October’s newest installment! Thank you so much Mr Cornwell!!
