Mr. Cornwell,
I read (and listen to) a number of your books, though not necessarily in the right order. I am a fan! I’ve just finished The Lords of the North and Harlequin and have been intrigued by something in both of them – the references to religious relics and their importance to the people of the time. I know you’re a great researcher but also a fiction writer and I wanted to ask if a lot of the examples you write about would have existed and venerated in those days (for example, a feather from Archangel Gabriel’s wing and St. George’s lance)? I hope this isn’t a silly question.
Kindest regards and thanks for the enjoyment.
