Hello Mr. Cornwell,

I’m sorry to bother you but I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for all your hard work. Recently, with all of the craziness that’s going on I was given your Last Kingdom book because I’m a huge fan of historical fiction and sword & sorcery/ fantasy. So once I started reading that this is in that realm and is in first person I instantly fell in love. From what I’ve read so far Saxon Stories/ Chronicles series is done in such a way it’s easy for me to read & re-read because the way it is written just pulls me in. The character Uhtred is by far one of my all time favorites in his trying to find himself. In the course of receiving The Last Kingdom last month to current day I’m already to The Burning Land. I’m currently working on collecting the original printed version of the books. I already have them on Audible and on my Kindle but I want to display them with their original covers. However, I will be honest I’m not a fan of the show because I feel it deviates to far from your work.

Anyways with all that being said, I just wanted to say thank you for work on this and your other books. Thank you sir and I’ll be continuing to follow your adventures of Uhtred. Have a great rest of your day and please be safe.  Thank you for your time.
