I’m after information on the phrase commonly used “wyrd bid ful aread” its translation? what language? how would it have been written? any links to pictures of this style of writing would be much appreciated. thanks heaps and please keep up the good work Luke

Hi Bernard. Fab job on writing Sword Song. After hearing that it was being released many months back I have been awaiting it eagerly and once again was not disappointed! I would like to know if there are any graphics or pictures of “wyrd bid ful araed” on the internet. I have only ever seen it published in your book or on web pages where it has been written in a standard font. I have been unable to find any in anglo-saxon/old english fonts. I am hoping you could help me somehow or point me in the right direction. All the best in future writings! Mike
