Raymond is on the verge of a mid-life crisis and he's only hit 30. As a student he'd thought life would be full of sex, drugs and rock n' roll as his rock band would surely hit the stars, instead of being a nervous new father and an even more nervous new English teacher.
For his old university pal and ex-rock band member Simon, life consists of serial murder, mass slaughter and professional assassination.
The last thing on Ray's mind is a band reunion but meet up they do, except that the split wasn't amicable and that Simon has been dead for three years until Ray spots him one day at Glasgow airport with violent consequences.
