Thirty-six former slaves in their own "Coloured Company" fought beside British redcoats at the Battle of Queenston Heights on the drizzly morning of October 13, 1812. That's in the history books. What part Upper Canada's first secret agent, Lt. Jonathan Westlake, played in the tale of that battle is my fictional story. A novel of freedom in the War of 1812, be prepared to stand up and cheer!  Thanks to Bernard for showing the way!!
