The tale is a blend of myth, fiction and history, set in Europe prior to the Roman occupation, epic in nature, but wrought with personal conflict that culminates in a stunning climax.

Losing heart for pillaging Etruria, a warrior decides to return home to Lugdunum -too late. Roman Legions crush his invading Celtic Horde at Telemone, enslaving him, and sending him to die slowly digging salt. His ordeal takes away everything he loves and threatens to steal the last vestige of his humanity. Will the journey transform him into a murderous monster or most noble chieftain?
