This is the second book in Arnold's 'Stryker Chronicles', a series set during the English Civil War. The first one, 'Traitor's Blood', was a great first effort, and this one's even better. Violent and fast-paced, with juicy plot-lines and believable characters, 'Devil's Charge' is a fantastic read. Highly recommended.
