Conn Iggulden goes from strength to strength with this third installment of the life of Julius Caesar. The first two volumes were majestic and this one does not let you down; indeed I'd go as far as to say that it is better than its predecessors. I can only borrow a comment from Mr. Cornwell himself - 'I wish I'd written it'.
