MUSASHI

Well I don't know if anyone as refered to this book already but I find it to be one of my all time favorite books.

It's the story of one of the biggest Japanese heros "Myamoto Musashi", where just like Mr. Cornwell's Sharpe, he raises from a farmer to a respected Samurai.
The story beggins with him lying down wounded in the middle of the corpses of the defeated army, not knowing very well what happened to him, on the battle that put the Tokogawas in power as Shogun, this is the start of a wonderful story where action never stops, there is always something happening.

It is a very intresting book not only for it's wonderful story but also because one can get to know a lot about Japanese culture, their way of thinking and values. Although I do not know if its true I was told that more than 50% of the book's story are factual events mainly the ones regarding the main character actions as he really existed.

I am sorry of any mistakes I may have given but I am not an English native speaker, I hope I could make myself understood.

Best regards from Portugal and good readings to all
