Not historical fiction even though it took place in the year 1943 Brooklyn, NY,but a story worth reading if you enjoy a rich moving story that may very well bring you to tears. It's a story about a little boy who has been given the gift of art. This is a moving story, I had a very hard time putting down, and after it was finished made me sad that it was. I read a book a week, most stories I forget shortly after. This story will stay with me for a long time.
