I picked this book up on the off chance it would be a good read and I could not put it down, it is a fast moving book yet still informative chronicling the life and exploits of Hannibal vividly with good description of the way of life in ancient times. Well worth a read if you like Bernard Cornwell's work as much as I do you - should find this a gripping book.
