Loved the first book in this series, Raffles: The Gentleman Thief, which was recommended on this site. Can duly recommend the follow-up, Raffles: Bowled Over, which sees Raffles and Bunny rob a banker at the Albany. The dialogue is excellent, the humour is wonderfully politically incorrect - and again the twist is clever. The author has breathed new life into the classic character and, whilst being conscious of the original stories and the times, there is a distinct modern resonance and satirical note to Raffles: Bowled Over.
