we first meet Lt. (Lord) Ramage in the Mediteranean, under orders of Nelson. We follow him for thirteen books, fighting (and outsmarting) Napoleon's navy & army. A very good read, full of detail on the British Navy during the Napoleonic wars. Anyone who enjoys Sharpie (like me) will like these books.
