Captain Javier Montez, a cavalry officer in the Mexican army, commanded by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, finds himself with his wife Maria on the fields of San Jacinto, the last days of the Texas revolution. Captain Montez has come to fight off the American invaders bent on stealing his people's land. As Sam Houston's ragtag army storms across the field, Captain Montez suffers a great loss while Santa Anna is killed, changing the course for both Mexico and the United States. The war must now go on. In "Road To La Bahia", we find out how fragile Texas independence really was.
