Swords of Artaius

Found this to be a tense, action packed adventure set in ancient Gaul before the Roman occupation. The hero, Artaius, is somewhat of an "Arthur" figure, who must wrestle with inner demons as well as a horde of Cimbri tribesman migrating into Celtica.
The touch of romance, larger than life characters, and strong story won me over. There are strong mythological overtones, but this is not fantasy. I believe the author tried to reconstruct the ancient Celtic world as accurately as possible, but I noted he did take some liberties with the geography around Lughdunum ( Lyons). All in all would rate it at least four stars.
