He destroys many myths and shows how the UK defeated the USA in the war rather than the USA's common view of their 2nd war of Indepenedence.
A clear and concise book that covers all the events of the Naval campaigns as well both the US and UK's high commands views and objectives. All in all a must have for anyone interested in military history or this largely forgotten and mythologised war.
