I was sure this trilogy would have been posted previously, but found nothing after searching. I can't recommend this trilogy enough (or any other of Mr. Abercrombie's work). The characters are well developed, interesting and likeable for all their human nature flaws. The series has been categorized as "grimdark" and while it is dark, I couldn't put them down.
