This is the first of a series of adventures of a British Army Officer, Capt.Simon Fonthill and Sergeant "352 Jenkins" during the late 1800's in South Africa and Afghanistan. The other titles are "The Road to Kandahar", "The Diamond Frontier", and "Last Stand at Majuba Hill". A further book in the series will be published this fall, entitled "The Guns of El Kebir". All are great reads, full of excitement and hard to put down.
