I have over the years enjoyed Wilber Smith and thought him to be the number one popular fiction writer to come out of South Africa. (Although I think he was born in Kenya)Bryce Courtaney changed that for me and I now think he can teach Wilber Smith a few lessons. The Power of One is brilliant a South African Classic and the follow up to it Tandia is a brilliant sequel.
