This follows in the same vein as the Sharpe novels and also Mallinson's 'Matthew Hervey of the Light Dragoons' series. The protagonists in this series, so far about six novels, are Roman Soldiers at the time of the Pacification of Britain. An excellent page-turner which any Sharpe fan would enjoy.
