A refreshing book and one of the few rare books that focuses on the fighting that happened post Vittoria in the Peninsular war with the bloody battles of the Pyrennes and Wellington's invasion of southern France. An excellent book that covers all the engagements from Soult's counter offensive at Roncvalles and Maya to the twin battles of Souraen and then invasion itself with the bloody battles of the Nievlle/Nive and Orthez to the final action at Toulouse.
