While there have been many books on the Peninsular War and Wellington's campaigns, there have been none at all on the Eastern Theatre. Thankfully Nick Lipscomebe provides a much needed antidote to that.
This Theatre played a huge role in Wellington's campaigns, tying down over A Hundred and Sixty Thousand French Troop, which otherwise he would have had to fight when launching his 1813 Offensive An excellent read with some fantastic maps. I can recommend it to anyone interested in Military History and the Napoleonic Wars.
