Thrillers

There are five of these, all (roughly) contemporary thrillers, the last of which was written in 1992. They all have sailing as a background, which is why this page has a picture of my boat as its illustration. ‘Royalist’ is a Cornish Crabber, Mark 2, one of 14 that I know are in the United States (out of about 350 that were built in Cornwall). I enjoyed writing the thrillers, but suspect I am happier writing historical novels. I’m always delighted when people want more of the sailing books, but I’m not planning on writing any more, at least not now – but who knows? perhaps when I retire.
